Sani Saidu Muhammad is a molecular epidemiologist and bio-innovator focused on wastewater-based pathogen surveillance in urban Africa. He is a PhD researcher at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and Lead Research Coordinator at the Zamani ReCirclers Research Hub. He has mapped over 500 high-risk microbial sites and developed the Zamani Diagnostic Prototype, a low-cost field biosensor. He is a former Kano State Research Coordinator for the Malaria Consortium, working on scalable, data-driven health systems.
