
Bridgette Galafa is a Genomic Medicine researcher from Malawi with experience in infectious disease research, microbial and human genomics, and public health surveillance. She has worked on Africa’s first bacterial Controlled Human Infection Model at the Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Programme and has just completed an MSc in Genomic Medicine in the UK as a Commonwealth Scholar. Her interests include digital health innovation, predictive genomics, and strengthening African-led health systems through equitable and locally governed technologies.
