Bilkisu Ahmed is a PhD researcher in medical microbiology with strong research interests in infectious diseases, immunology, and host–pathogen interactions. She is passionate about understanding disease mechanisms and improving health outcomes in Africa. She aspires to contribute to strengthening epidemic preparedness and advancing locally driven innovations in genomics, diagnostics, and vaccine research for Africa’s health challenges.
