Kabirat Sulaiman is a biomedical researcher and lecturer at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Nigeria. Her research focuses on omics-informed diagnostic innovation for neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), especially schistosomiasis, using molecular, immunoproteomics and computational approaches. She is passionate about strengthening epidemic preparedness in Africa through translational research, capacity building and mentorship. Kabirat is also a co-founder of Girls’ Thrive, an initiative which supports the development of young girls and women
