Elminah Saru is an MSc candidate in Bioinformatics through a collaboration between Pwani University and the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust. She holds a background in Biotechnology (BSc) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Research Methods. Her research experience spans hypertension studies with the IHCoR-Africa group and current work in malaria research. She is passionate about applying bioinformatics and her background in life sciences to generate insights that improve public health outcomes across Sub-Saharan Africa.
