
Vanessa Mwebaza Muwanga is an immunologist, researcher, and educator from Uganda whose work focuses on infectious diseases, biomarkers, and translational health research. She has contributed to studies evaluating blood transcriptomic signatures for tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment monitoring and is passionate about bridging the gap between scientific discovery and patient impact. Vanessa currently serves as a Lecturer at Hanave University, a Senior Advisor at Hiinga, and an Honorary Research Associate within the Vaccine Research Theme at the MRC/UVRI & LSHTM Uganda Research Unit.
