Avec un investissement initial de 9 millions de dollars US, le programme cherche \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l'expertise africaine en g\u00e9nomique, en diagnostic et en d\u00e9veloppement de vaccins, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi la capacit\u00e9 du continent \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux \u00e9pid\u00e9mies et aux pand\u00e9mies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au cours des trois prochaines ann\u00e9es, la premi\u00e8re phase du programme soutiendra 131 boursiers, avec un fort accent sur l'inclusivit\u00e9 \u2014 60 % des postes sont r\u00e9serv\u00e9s aux jeunes femmes, afin de rem\u00e9dier aux disparit\u00e9s entre les sexes dans les domaines des sciences et de la technologie.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La bourse propose quatre parcours de formation distincts :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Formation Avanc\u00e9e et Translationnelle (ATT) :<\/strong>\u00a0Un programme intensif de 4 \u00e0 6 mois ax\u00e9 sur la g\u00e9nomique avanc\u00e9e pour l'analyse de la sant\u00e9 publique, la conception de diagnostics g\u00e9nomiques et la fabrication de vaccins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Programme Young Professional (YPP) :<\/strong>\u00a0Un programme de 12 mois mettant l'accent sur l'innovation en biotechnologie et l'entrepreneuriat, incluant des stages dans des entreprises commerciales, des industries ou des centres d'innovation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Master en administration des affaires (MBA) en leadership dans le secteur de la sant\u00e9 :<\/strong>\u00a0Un cours de 2 ans con\u00e7u pour les professionnels souhaitant comprendre les principes de gouvernance et les d\u00e9fis de la sant\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Master en bioinformatique des maladies infectieuses (MSc) :<\/strong>\u00a0Un programme de 2 ans visant \u00e0 former des dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s dot\u00e9s de comp\u00e9tences en bioinformatique et en recherche, les positionnant comme futurs innovateurs et leaders dans la recherche sur les maladies infectieuses.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Le professeur Tulio de Oliveira, directeur du Centre for Epidemic Response and Innovation (CERI) \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 de Stellenbosch, a soulign\u00e9 l'importance du programme : \u00ab Nous avons remarqu\u00e9 pendant la pand\u00e9mie que si nous ne nous concentrons pas sur des solutions pour les maladies africaines, presque personne ne le fera. \u00bb&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour un aper\u00e7u complet, regardez la vid\u00e9o d'introduction du Prof. Tulio de Oliveira :<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/i0CkDkLi5bM?si=z4Wc7V0AwuTwrmIh\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The African STARS Fellowship Programme is a collaborative initiative by the Mastercard Foundation, Stellenbosch University, and the Institut Pasteur de Dakar, aiming to empower the next generation of health leaders in Africa.
