Dr Hussien Endris Assen is an Anesthesiologist and Critical Care specialist with an MPH in Health Service Management. He leads ICU and perioperative services while advancing research on health economics and policy in low-resource settings. His work integrates clinical expertise with system-strengthening approaches to improve access, quality, and affordability of surgical and critical care services. He is committed to building equitable and resilient healthcare systems across Africa.
