David Adeoye Adedokun is a veterinarian and MPhil candidate in Molecular Cell Biology of Infectious Diseases at the University of Ghana. He is completing his thesis on HIV-associated cardiometabolic disorders and mitochondrial dysfunction as a research fellow at Stellenbosch University. With research interests in zoonotic diseases, pandemic preparedness, and One Health approaches, David is dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary science to strengthen health systems and tackle climate-linked infectious disease threats in underserved communities.
